Thanks so much for all the wonderful sewing done for Uganda.  As you can see it was appreciated.  Many more dresses and shorts were distributed to various groups, families and schools that were in need.

One hundred plus items of clothing are currently being completed by wonderful volunteers around the world from America, Australia and New Zealand for the Uganda Project. Simple tops, shorts and drawstring dresses have been cut, overlocked and finally sewn by kind sewing enthusiasts and will soon be ready to distribute to a poor community in Uganda. Earlier in 2012 Global Volunteer Founder Colin Salisbury took samples of the clothing to the community to test for sizing. This project is in its final stages and once all items are completed they will be hand delivered by Global Volunteer Network in May 2013.
